After entering all the scores, you need to calculate the ratings results. The easiest way to calculate the ratings is to press [F6].
On this panel are two buttons: [Ratings] and [Reports].
The [ratings] button will recalculate the ratings for the session. Any time the scores have changed you must recalculate the ratings.
The session report showing the impact on the ratings is available using the [report] button. Choose the destination, often initially the screen, and the report layout in the "report select" option. [Automatic] is the default and the easiest. The click [report].
The session report shows the impact on the players ratings as a result of playing in the event.
Note the ratings impact will be meaningless for a while. It takes the CARDS system about 12 sessions of play to come up with a realistic value. Therefore until a player is rated the impact report will show N/R or not rated. Until most of the members of the club are rated the impact report will not be valid. Similarly the ratings of the players will not be correct for some time. Typically it takes 2 to 3 months of processing for the rating values to be correct.
