You will be asked where you want to place your masterfile. You can create a special place or choose the default (recommended). Then you have the option of creating a new masterfile and populating the file with your members from another source such as your scoring program. If you are using scoring program it is important that you load your members from that source and not from other sources. This way the member files will be syncronised.
It is important to define the club's bridge name for the CARDS system. On the club details screen enter the "ratings club name". This name is used to link the two systems together with files shipped to and from the CARDS system using this as the identifying name. A single word name like 'cairns' should be chosen that best describes your club.
If you skip this step you have the option of creating and populating the masterfile at later time, when you are ready.
